Hertfordshire businesses shortlisted for FSB East of England Celebrating Small Business Awards 2018

The shortlist of the FSB East of England – Celebrating Small Business Awards 2018 contains five Hertfordshire finalists, Jamie Russell of Touch of Ginger Ltd of Shepreth, who has been shortlisted for the Business Exporter of the Year, Stacey Hollis of New Noise Audio from Hitchin who has been shortlisted for Micro Business of the year, Daniel Yellop of The Discount Brands Company Ltd also of Hitchin who has been shortlisted for Scale-up business of the year, Sarah Wragg of Cariad Marketing Limited based in Hertford who has been shortlisted for Digital Business of the Year and Nikki Costello of Fashonbrandz Ltd. based in Royston who has been shortlisted for Start-up Business of the Year.

The winners of each of these award categories will be announced at the East of England finals on 14 March at Lynford Hall Hotel, Thetford.

The event will help to celebrate Hertfordshire’s 63,000 small businesses that contribute to the economy and play a vital part in making the county a more vibrant place in which to live, work, and study and to visit.

If they win their category they will go through to the UK national FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards 2018 final in London in May.

FSB branch leader for Hertfordshire, Pam Charman said: ” We are clearly punching above our weight here in Hertfordshire. Every one of these five businesses deserves their place in the regional finals, they are innovative, cutting edge and bring lots of benefits to the communities they serve. I wish them all the best of luck.”

The FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards recognise and celebrate the most outstanding smaller businesses in the UK, a sector that makes an overwhelming contribution to the UK’s economy and culture. Twelve area finals take place across the UK take place between January and March 2018
