Speakers to inspire at Ambition 2016

Next month, Hoddesdon will host an inspirational business event to help business owners and managers navigate their way through the ever changing world of sales and marketing.

Following the hugely successful sell-out conference in 2015, Ambition 2016 has just confirmed a great line-up of top business speakers who are set to inspire local companies with advice on branding, telling their story, getting their story heard and the power of a corporate brand.

Ambition 2016’s keynote speaker will be Jack Ismail, the Retail Operations Director of Specsavers who has worked with and observed some of the very best retail leaders in action such as M&S, Home Retail Group and Whitbread and will be sharing some of his experiences.

Other speakers will be giving practical advice on day-to- day branding and marketing. Flying in from California for the event is Lesley Everett, who specialises in corporate and personal brands. Lesley has often appeared on UK and US TV as a commentator on branding and image of people in the public eye. She is the founder of Walking TALL, an executive brand coaching organisation.

David McQueen, who has worked with and interviewed Richard Branson and had his own Channel 4 show, ‘Vocation, Vocation, Vocation’, is passionate about showing people what good speaking and presentation looks like.

Janey Lee Grace, who is probably best known for being a co-presenter on BBC Radio 2’s Steve Wright in the Afternoon, is a marketing and brand ambassador coach, media trainer and best-selling author of You Are The Brand.

Andy Lopata is a leading authority on networking and referrals, and has been called ‘One of Europe’s leading business networking strategists’ by the Financial Times.

The conference will be moderated by former West Ham tannoy announcer Jeremy Nicholas, an award winning TV and radio broadcaster who’s best known for his sports reports, BBC regional news reports and for being the voice for FIFA 16.

Tickets cost only £95 and are available on www.ambition.events All the profits from the event will go to two local charities, Teens Unite and Isabel Hospice.
