Churchill Celebrates Regional Growth with St Albans Office Opening

Churchill Retirement Living celebrated the official opening of its newly refurbished regional office in St Albans with a special ribbon cutting ceremony.

More than 35 people attended the special event at the offices on Hatfield Road in St Albans on Thursday 21st July, to mark the significant growth of the regional team over the last 12 months.

Amongst the guests was Councillor Frances Leonard, Mayor of St Albans City and District, who met with Clinton McCarthy, managing director of Churchill Retirement Living Group.

Churchill Retirement Living employs 21 staff and has five active developments in the region. The business has made a number of new appointments over the last year to further strengthen the team as part of its growth plans, including a sales director, land manager, and an expanded team of architects, construction staff and surveyors.

Greg Hilton, regional managing director for Churchill Retirement Living (East), said: “The opening of our newly refurbished regional head office is a significant milestone in our ambitious growth strategy. We have enjoyed a successful 12 months in which we have increased legal sales completions by 80%, launched five new sales outlets and increased our land unit pipeline by 200 plots.

“Our plan for the next 12 months is to make six construction site starts with over 100 legal completions. We will of course continue to ensure we deliver the quality product and high levels of customer satisfaction for which Churchill is renowned.”

Churchill Retirement Living has specialised in the provision of purpose built apartments designed for older people, since 1998. It recently received the maximum five-star rating in an independent customer satisfaction survey and was ranked 14th in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For 2016.

The Churchill Retirement Living Eastern region currently has new developments of one and two bedroom retirement apartments at Astonia Lodge in Stevenage Old Town, Sheldon Lodge in Berkhamsted, King Harold Lodge in Waltham Abbey, Chelmer Lodge in Chelmsford and Nicholls Lodge in Bishop’s Stortford.
