Claire Austin, Managing Director of Austin’s Funeral Service and her husband Peter of Harwood Park Crematorium present Mark Turner CEO of the Road Victims’ Trust with a cheque for £4,488.
The money was raised by Harwood Park through its membership of the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management’s metals recycling scheme. Mark Turner, CEO of the Road Victims Trust said “each year upwards of 35 people are killed in the roads of Hertfordshire. The generosity of Austin’s will ensure that at least 5 families can be supported for at least 12 months. We are extremely grateful”.
