Taylor Walton’s summer of success

Partners and staff at leading regional firm Taylor Walton have been enjoying the summer season with a series of recent achievements.

The firm has welcomed new partner Caroline Hume to its highly reputed Residential Conveyancing team. Caroline was previously Head of Department at Neves Solicitors and strengthens the extensive and already successful team based in the firm’s St Albans office.

The firm also welcomed three new trainee solicitors to its ranks on Monday last week, as well as retaining two newly qualified solicitors into the Corporate and Real Estate departments.

Finally, having undergone a stringent review process, Taylor Walton has been successful in re-qualifying for the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark, Lexcel. Lexcel is designed to assure clients that the firm meets high client care and business management standards and is only awarded following an on-site visitor from an independent, experienced and highly trained assessor.

Robert Bourns, President of the Law Society of England and Wales, said “Delivering good client care and maintaining a strong relationship are essential for solicitors and those gaining and maintaining Lexcel show their dedication to go above and beyond. Committing to high standards in customer service and practice management is fundamentally important in today’s evermore competitive legal services market.”

Managing Partner Dermot Carey said “It has been an excellent summer for Taylor Walton. The firm continues to go from strength to strength, both in terms of the excellent quality of staff we are able to attract and retain, and in terms of the excellent quality of work we are able to win and deliver to our clients.”

“As we move into Autumn, we are looking to further cement and grow our reputation for excellence across the region”.
