Brasier Freeth Hosts 5-a-side Tournament for Local Hospice

On the 21 st September 2017, Hertfordshire based Chartered Surveyors Brasier Freeth hosted a 5-a-side tournament in aid of The Hospice of St Francis.

13 teams from local Professional Service firms took part in the event held at Powerleague Watford. Despite the heavy downpours of rain the players were undeterred and over 80 players participated in the evening’s tournament. Fellow commercial agents Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and Clydesdale Bank made the final with LSH coming out top with a 2-1 win.

Brasier Freeth was delighted to raise £600 for The Hospice of St Francis. Commenting on the event, Carolyn Addison, Corporate Fundraising Manager for the charity, said: “We are so grateful to Brasier Freeth for their continued support of the Hospice since 2013 when they joined our Corporate Partner Network as a Platinum Partner and became one of a burgeoning group of 160 fabulous local businesses who currently regularly support us. We are so grateful to them for arranging such a fun event and raising such a fantastic amount.”

The Hospice of St Francis is a charity providing care to people living with life-limiting illnesses and support for their families, carers and those closest to them in West Herts & South Bucks. The Hospice relies heavily on voluntary donations from the community to fund 80% of their £5m+ annual running costs.
