Recharge your batteries at Beales Hotel

Hatfield business Beales Hotel has given the green light to visitors who need to recharge their electric cars with the installation of a new power point in their car park.

Their new POLAR charge point is one of 5,000 across the UK, offering membership plus pay-as-you go service.

“The power point is proving very popular and has been used daily since installation. The number of electric cars on the road has increased and the Government has pledged to invest in the technology. Increasing fuel costs may make them the company car of the future so we wanted to ensure our business clients can plug in and recharge here,” said Beales Hotel General Manager Mark Schipper.

The family owned business has always been keen to think ‘green’ and sources its food locally for the fabulous Outsidein Restaurant, with quality produce on offer. Their autumn menu features the very best of British vegetables, with Jerusalem artichokes back in season and roasted British plums in a frangipane tart. Lunch can be enjoyed from as little as £20 per person for two courses, coffee and petit fours.

Business is booming at Beales Hotel, they remain number one on Tripadvisor for Hatfield hotels and top of customer reviews on Booking.com for the area. This summer the hotel has hosted a record-breaking number of weddings and Christmas looks set to be busy with every popular Party Nights and a New Year’s Eve extravaganza.

Beales Hotels is Hertfordshire’s oldest family business and one of the country’s oldest hotel businesses. Handed down through the generations since 1769, to current Managing Director Andrew Beale.
